DES TRESSES

Braiding; an ancestral gesture, a form of knowledge carried in the hands rather than on paper. In this process, drawing becomes unnecessary; the design emerges through making. Patient experimentation and the creation of prototypes guide the project, allowing form, structure, and material to evolve together.

Roussillon by Mathieu Lustrerie

A luminous icon of the Kinetic Spiral series by Henri Mathieu, the Roussillon chandelier was first conceived in 1972 at the height of the kinetic art movement. In 2024, the design was thoughtfully revisited by his granddaughter, Ines Mathieu, continuing the family legacy while honouring its original spirit.

Franck Genser

Paris-based Franck Genser creates at the intersection of sculpture and utility. By merging rare material such as luminous alabaster and hand-pressed parchment with master French savoir-faire, he transforms functional objects into high-end collectible art.
