Since 1993, Jean-François Lesage and his partners have created and developed
Lesage Interieurs, which achieve one-of-a-kind embroideries dedicated to
exceptional furnishing and decoration. Be they historical, classical or contemporary,
these embroideries highlight hundreds of techniques and stitches that enhance this
know how.
Lesage Interieurs designs and produces by hand in the framework of its high end
manufactory in Chennai-Madras, Vastrakala – the “art of fabric” in Sanskrit -, with
200 skilled embroiderers. Endowed with the standard SA8000, Vastrakala is the only
Indian workshop that guarantees a full commitment of the company for social
responsibility and decent working conditions to the craftsmen.
From its French headquarters, situated in the lovely ancient area of la Grange
Bateliere in Paris, Jean-François Lesage and his team ensure the link with Lesage
Interieurs’ clients all over the world: museums, palaces, decorators, architects,
designers, upholsterers and private collectors.
Based on a solid network in the field of decoration, Lesage interieurs achieves refined
and bespoke projects for the most renown clients in Europe with: Francois Catroux,
Jean-Louis Deniot, Jacques Garcia, Jacques Grange, Cabinet Alberto Pinto, MHZ
